I assume it was partly intended to soft counter Blaziken since it is immune to its STAB-moves, can be EV'd to not get 2hko'd by Adamant Thunderpunch and Stone Miss sits at only 12.507589556769885% usage. Apparently didn't have pp ups so got pp wasted by Mega Venusaur and Zapdos.
