>>41403774It's a weird feeling, when I think about the direction Pokemon is going nowadays, I feel empty inside, why it has to be like this? A lot of people prasing the game on Twitter with a lot of likes, anyone trying to remotely counterpoint with a "But..." are with fewer likes by comparison, it's obvious that my personal opinion is not the majority.
I want to love Pokemon, I want Game Freak to put the effort the franchise deserves, I truly do, I was replaying an older game and having fun, why it can't be like that again? It's hard to say what waits in the future, they may see the success of this game as "well, we didn't had to worry about anything after all", they may also try to make some misguided changes that still don't fix the real problems (like introducing even more temporary gimmicks instead of upgrading/improving previous ones).
I'll wait for the next big announcement to decide if I should enter full despair mode or not, Pokemon will be permanently dead to me depending on the next game.
