There's something about the type char that kinda bothers me. One type has always sort of stuck out as weird.
Fire, Water, Rock/Ground, Grass, Ice, Electric, Steel are all obvious typical elemental things you usually have with this sort of thing. Poison arguably can fit here too.
Normal, Fighting, Dark(Evil), Flying, and Psychic* all individually would seem out of place on an elemental type chart, but together are a coherent collection of descriptive verbs/adjectives, giving each other a sort of precedent. You could put Poison here if you feel it doesn't fit in the element section.
Ghost, Dragon, Fairy, and Psychic* have the same thing going, all being categories of mythical beings who's presence on the chart makes the others not stand out.
That leaves the odd type out. Bug. Just Bugs. There's no Reptile type or anything that would fit in the same "category" as Bug type, and it always stuck out to me as strangely out of place.
I was just wondered if anyone else noticed or felt this way.
*Psychic was another type like Poison that I felt could reasonably fit into two different groupings and I couldn't decide which one it was better in.
