And I'm back again.
After beating the electric trial I swapped out Sudowoodo with my new Alolan Graveler. Golem carried me all the way back in my first SS run and I need all the held I can get. Lost my Dugtrio because of a low magnitude roll, which sucked, then I lost Bugle the Toucanon to the most bastard Honchkrow which hit 5 critical hits in a fucking row. Superluck night slash is no joke, my God. Wish I could've brought her further, Toucanon was surprisingly fun to use.
Replaced them with Majesty the Lilligant (a bit of a one-trick pony but Quiver Dance and Synthesis is a very good trick) and Dreamer the Komala, who I then had to sacrifice almost immediately after she was trained against Totem Mimikyu. Thank God for Rock Blast
Lotta losses in a short amount of time. The quick rate I lose stuff and the constant cutscenes are ruining my motivation honestly.
Gonna hold out from adding shiny Haunter to the team for a little longer, she doesn't add much versatility to the team and I'm scared of losing her.
Now to vanish for another few weeks, probably.
>>55916455Unless you're really unlucky you really shouldn't have to do the SwSh start more than once.
>>55916054>Fire Blast ChanseyMan full random runs are just straight bullshit sometimes, huh? Real good job getting through it so far.
>>55914649Honestly I was kinda looking forward to revisit SwSh after UM, but then your post reminded me of what playing SwSh is like. Maybe I should think of a rule to include overworld encounters at least.
Anyone got any ideas?
>>55913612Tate & Liza are either a nightmare or super easy (in Emerald, otherwise they're always super easy). Really based team. Keeping water gun on Armaldo is wild though.
>>55910858Make sure to keep a Geodude alive, they can carry your run.
>>55911210Damn that sucks. Cynthia was a lost cause, but why didn't you switch to Magnezone earlier against Bronzong? Seems like it would've been a better matchup.
