I made this entirely by thinking about what would happen if you either sent a lump/specimen of type a at type b, or if the type embodied an abstract element (fire, water, electricity, ice, poison, earth/rock, steel) or a creature (plants, fairies, dragons, both good and evil fighters, psychics, bugs, ghostly spirits, flying animals, "normal" things).
It's also quite late, so I didn't bother to check for consistency.
