>>45300620Nailed it on the head. Played it once when it came out and loved it. Replaying it for the first time and right now and it is still good. Been spending a lot of time going off the beaten path to find items and using the dousing rods to find even more. Lots of forks in the road, reminds me of older lands. I really did not get this feeling of satisfactory exploration with gen 7 (although i still like that gen, i need to replay it as well) but there is NOTHING saving gen 8. The only good thing i can see is post game grinding and comp battling. Might be fun to grindfor a team of high tech shiny mons. But the main story and the graphics and environment were so awful and soulless that i could not even get to that point nor do I think I could sustain myself at that point for long.
