>>37101238- Mystery Dungeon is the better series considering you actually interact and bond with the actual pokemon rather than just keep them contained and only let them out to beat something up. The only exceptions to that are HGSS and LGPE
- Diamond and Pearl are the worst pokemon games I've experienced.
-LGPE's changes to pokemon encounters is the best system by far and anyone who unironically wants to spin in circles in grass and caves to find pokemon is stuck in the past.
- LGPE's motion controls work fine and I prefer it to stick controls because you can be way more accurate, not to mention the bonus you get for using them as well. No idea why people find it so hard to flick or aim left and right.
- This one is like half opinion, half suggestion but the Dex Nav/LGPE's system of catch combos for better pokemon has the potential to make competitive pokemon more inviting and appealing if they improve on it and add other ways to make your existing pokemon just as viable without tossing them aside after you clear the game. We already have bottle caps, just make them more common, lower the level requirement to 50 and you needing to at least be champion to use them, add tutors to teach your pokemon egg moves in post game and have someone like Madam Celadon for natures/abilities appear early in the game so you don't have to worry about it later. Instead of just needing to breed for all of that this now gives people 2 different methods to build their teams that can also be mixed. For example when breeding you could use a Madam Celadon equivalent to get your nature/ability guaranteed and instead of hatching 100 more eggs because 1 of your IV stats isn't correct you can just take 10 minutes to grind it on the game's EXP sponge and bottle cap it and then use a tutor for another egg move you want instead of chain breeding it with 3 different pokemon to pass it down. Made this post way longer than expected by I'd like to hear some thoughts on that system.
