Gen IV has the most generally unappealing Pokedex. Outside the cross-gens (sans Rhyperior, Magmortar, Electivire, Probopass, Magnezone, and Mamoswine - all inferior to their pre-evolved forms), you can't even name one Pokemon that isnt marred by being ugly, weak, or both. Even the starters and legendaries are unusually hideous. No wonder so many people dropped the series with it.
