Now that I rewatch this show, I really love Arbok now. I started feeling this way in that season 1 episode where the pokemon get separated on a island of giant pokemon are they are all talking to each other. Then that's that moment where Ekans is crying while talking to pikachu and all the other mons are CLEARLY drunk (in a kids show btw), and I'm just wondering what his story is. So now i like seeing him and feel bad everytime he gets to be the punching bag.
