My review certainly isn't going to be as long as Ashime's, I'll just get it out of the way now. I also have not really been 'planning' this review so forgive me if it's rambly
This game is a mess. An incoherent and horribly paced story with barely any notable characters and technobabble substituting in for major plot developments, ambition that is clearly not backed by the same kind of presentation value, and mechanics that only a lunatic would think were good
Tying flat stat increases to the most tedious parts of Pokemon as a whole like shiny hunting and breeding, and demanding them to be essential in later parts of the game, is so obviously fucking laughable that it's genuinely a miracle it got coded.
Godlike is a decent idea in theory, being that you want to make powerful mons unable to be taken down by just shitting out Destiny Bond Murkrow in their face, but gets overused and so badly used to the point of making every single boss for a good 50% of this game become a shitfest of learning how to break the AI or come in with equivalently terrible cheese.
And this game is tedious. Fishing for 1% keys on Dhelmises, 500 battles, 10 hour roguelike, trainer gauntlets all over the end of the maingame.
Some of the worst designed levels I've ever seen in any video game, some of the worst fights, some of the worst ideas.

I'm establishing this now because ultimately I agree with White Man that I think I would genuinely recommend this game. UNDER A CERTAIN MINDSET. I don't think this game quite matches the unhinged and nigh unplayable but still largely intelligent vision of something like Drakengard, but it's in the same league.
