Hey /vp/, let's talk about our WiFi and/or Smogon teams and try to help each other out a bit. The team I am running at the moment is having a few issues that I need to work out. (I'm not very good.)
Venomoth
-Timid, Wonderskin, Black Sludge 5/6 31 IV's, 252 Speed, 252 HP, 4 Def
--Sleep Powder
--Quiver Dance
--Sludge Bomb
--Baton Pass
Venomoth has been running into a lot of issues as a baton passer in my team because of the huge amount of Talonflame running around, making him a poor opener in WiFi battles and someone that probably needs a substitute lead in, which I don't have in my team at the moment.
Espeon
-Timid, Magic Bounce, Light Clay, 5/6 IV's, 252 Speed, 252 HP, 4 Def
--Reflect
--Light Screen
--Psychic
--Baton Pass
In the current WiFi environment, Espeon doesn't do well. After further reading, I have found that she is best placed in a dedicated baton pass group where at least 3-4 baton passers exist. With my "rounded out" team, she has no real lead ins to keep her safe, and dies before the screens can do what they are supposed to do.
Froslass
-Timid, Cursed Body, Focus Sash, 5/6 IV's, 252 Speed, 252 SpA, 4 Def
--Destiny Bond
--Taunt
--Shadow Ball
--Spikes
I've been having a lot of luck with Froslass thus far. Everytime I've battled, I've managed to get a successful Destiny Bond off, taking down one for one in each slot. The problem is not having enough follow up when using her on WiFi.
Volcarona
-Timid, Flame Body, Lum Berry, 5/6 IV's, 252 SpA, 252 Speed, 4 Def
--Fire Blast
--Psychic
--Bug Buzz
--Quiver Dance
Talonflame once again comes in to say hi to my Volcarona and have his way with my poor bug.
