This happens every time a game is leaked. The truth is that Pokémon fans are so rabid and desperate (and underexposed to actually good games) that no matter how barebones, how shitty, how broken, cheap, low quality and behind the curve a Pokémon game is, they will bend over backwards to try to spin it as good.
