>>21538400Pokemon are pokemon, I'll give that. But just like our own animals can be broken down into families, classes, and so on, many pokemon share *similarities* to these groups (which is bound to happen, considering how evolution works).
Whatever the case, Gardevoir is in the Amorphous egg group, with pokemon like Dusclops, Jellicent, Weezing, and others that all seem to lack an internal skeletal structure. Seeing as Gardevoir's pokedex entry mentions that it manipulate gravity to the point of creating a black hole, it wouldn't be too big a stretch to say Gardevoir has a semi-rigid body and supports itself with psychic manipulation. Combine this with Gardevoir angel-like attributes and other space-related pokemon, and my final conclusion is:
Gardevoir is not like the Earthen Mammal "egg" group, but instead would fall into a new category, Alien. It does seem that Gardevoir eats emotional energy instead of physical sustenance for food, but hey, what do I know?
Anyway, back on topic.
