Back in the day the terms used to separate JRPG and WRPG was "console RPG" and "computer RPG", before language shifted. Like how Metroidvania used to be an insult instead of a genre. Is Tem-Tem not a JRPG because it's not made by the Japanese, despite the fact that it plays very similar to Pokemon which is a JRPG?
