>>14170775For me when it comes to art design I am extremely OCD. The fact that Chespin3's color palette is primarily beige is a complete eye soar. I mean, EVERYTHING is beige, the spikes, the shell, the arms, the legs, the head. Someone at Gamefreak actually thought that going from primary green secondary brown to primarily beige and small amounts of green and brown was a good idea. Clauncher is a good example of a Pokemon with a decent distribution of colors. It's primarily blue and secondary black with yellow in just the right places.
After seeing some of the alterations people made, (i.e. recoloring the shell green, reinstating the orange-tipped spikes) to me means the difference between a failing grade and an A+. It's just that simple.
