The turtle that Alice did not even know ten seconds ago suddenly begins ranting to her about all of his troubles, "That, and because I used to be a regular turtle years ago who was mocked by a school of my underwater brethren, and after years and years of consistent torment, I surrendered to the torment and became what is now known as the Mock Turtle. As a result of this transformation, I now have the tail and head of a donkey and I can now no longer make exclamation points, it's quite traumatizing what with the fact that I have the voice made for comic shenanigans."
"Wait..." Alice pauses the Mock Turtle in the middle of his story, "Who are ya?"

"You don't know who I am? You know who everyone /else/ is and you don't know who I a?"
Alice shakes her head with a frown, "Nuh-uh, ammi 'sposed 't?"
"I just told you, I am the Mock Turtle. Didn't you read the book? I'm the basis of a caricature for an otherwise pivotal portion of its now tattered and long-recited pages."
