you know what's interesting about hydreigon? it doesn't actually have to be ran in a dark deck. the thing generates its own dark energy without needing to be in the active, so you can just charge it on the bench and use it like a magnezone.
sure it can't attack twice in a row, but you can easily lyra/leaf into another attacker (or a second hydreigon if you're lucky), and a 130 hit is a hell of a lot more powerful than zone's 110 since it hits the 150 benchmark with red. as a bonus it also cleanly KOs giratina thanks to type advantage.
i won't know how it measures up to zone until i get to actually play around with the card, but there's genuine non-meme potential there.
