This is a personal favorite of mine. I know an adamant nature would probably go better, but I’ve had a jolly DD char izard since firered and I don’t feel like breeding a new one. Not much to say. Overall a balanced pokemon for offense/defence.
Talonflame
Evs: 192 HP, 252 ATK, 60 SPEED, 4 DEF
Nature: Adamant
Item: Sky Plate
Ability: Gale wings
Moves: Brave Bird, Flare Blitz, Swords Dance, Roost
This will most likely be my lead, mainly because stealth rocks can end this sweep pretty quick. Pretty standard talon flame. Invested some defense EV’s so it doesn’t fall victim to any OHKO’s
Clefable
Evs: 252 HP, 160 DEF, 96 SpDEF
Nature: Calm
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
Moves: Calm Mind, Moon Blast, Soft Boiled, Steath Rock
Basically a special wall/a switch in to block anything trying to paralyze talon flame or char izard. And for setting up stealth rocks.
Ferrothorn
Evs: 252 HP, 168 DEF, 88 SpDEF
Nature: Relaxed
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
Moves: Spikes, Leech Seed, Thunder Wave, Power Whip
Defensive wall. Not much to say. Seems pretty straight forward.
Starmie:
Evs: 252 SpATK, 252 SPEED, 4 HP
Nature: Timid
Item: Life Orb
Ability: Analytic
Moves: Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Rapid Spin
A very good water type, and a rapid spinner to keep talon flame and charizard safe from stealth rocks.
