This same faggy director was just some mook under Morimoto's charge so you can see why the battling system in LTH is so fucked. Its just a really convoluted card battler made by one tryhard motherfucker who has no idea how to properly design a game for the masses.
Ironically besides Drill Dozer Id say their only "decentish" side games were Tembo and Harmoknight and thats purely on account of james. They could pass for some okay Steam indie fodder but not as official retail packaged games. Drill Dozer is alright but kinda overrated, and Pulseman is DEFINITELY overrated sucked off only by tumblrina fucks that reblog tryhard gifs of pretty pixel arr backgrounds or animation loops. In all honesty yeah give or take Game Freak was never a good game company with or without Pokemon. They wouldnt have survived past the 2000s.
