I'm just saying it's really weird how there's this ongoing debate on the sapience of Pokemon (sadly in regards to morality of real peoole imagining romancing and/or fucking them), but that a critical part of it is "they're pets" that also happen to possess enough of it to do tasks that only exist in late stage civilizations. It's like saying treating Yogi Bear like a person instead of a bear is weird when he both lives in a national park and can drive. Or treating this guy like a rat because he's... well a rat but he also owns and runs a 5 star parisian restaurant.
>>47680475Exaggeration yes, but still. Our Pokemon have enough presence of mind to have jobs that require learned skills and knowledge that doesn't exist in nature, but need permission from resident authorities to just walk behind you as if they can't conduct themselves politely.
