The lady on the left is Clarissa, a spoiled rich kid who's on her journey based on her family's influence on the world, and how it's a tradition for young members of their family to go on their journey when they turn 18. Even if they have little affinity towards the little murder beasts.
In the middle is Nicolas, who is using his deceased little sister's Lilligant. He wants to prove her sister's worth in terms of a breeder, and his journey is trying to figure out how to respect his sibling's wishes, as he's alone in the world.
Finally, Toplina's on the right. She's a bit of a ditz, actually on the journey because of her Zorua running away from her hometown, and her having to cope with the fact that she's off on the road, without much of a dream carrying her, aside from wanting to fill up a Pokédex she's found abandoned on her journey.
While it may sound like I have a lot of info, I'm still nowhere close to having a good plan for what I'm going to write about with them. Maybe at some future point, I'll have a good plan of action.
