It's stupid-looking, but I actually kind of like it. Just having a fat, super-weak-looking fish as a common encounter. You know the one, the Tentacool you run into every damn route. The Magikarp you always get when using a bad fishing rod. While we have a lot of fish concepts, they all seem pretty useful and awesome-looking, there isn't one that's just plain weak or annoying.
I wonder if the grass typing needs to be dropped for that? It would be easy to replace the leaf with something else.
