>>58661182>>58659589Mind you the energy isn't even that fancy, it's not like FFVII lifestream that appears as a green juice of life energy from the deceased and the planet, it only looks like an eerie lime green glow when it's released upon Hoenn, the cave of origin itself looks exactly the same except they actually tried a little
>underground cave of the volcano (that now we know it was created by a meteor) except it looks bigger and properly colored now>lava activity in one version, nothing but water in the other, same as the Reversal Mountain from gen 5 too>mysterious mist that is meant to evoke the spiritual feeling of "this is where souls gather" as we were told>the rubies and the sapphires representing the games and the pokemon, just gigantic, more imposing in the remakeThey don't drink anime super juice and become Super Saiyan Ruby Groudon and Super Saiyan Sapphire Kyogre in the remake, it's the same except the mist around them makes them go primal, the original theme of Groudon and Kyogre feeding on life itself at Sootopolis is still intact. In fact it's stronger than ever because once you beat them the energy released summons more pokemon to Hoenn that apparently haven't been in the region for hundreds, if not thousands of years, they are trying to leech on life but by stopping them you allow life to flourish strong again, and all ties with the whole XY thing of the Ultimate Weapon also using life energy and creating the mega stones and now Ange being designed as a life-spreading device and causing more mega evolutions.
This sort of writing and connection between gen 3 and 6 is the best intergenerational link they have added with a "return to x region" game ever and yet pathetic nostalgic hoennbabies insist they "ruined" their games lmao
