There's literally no battle. Just a bunch of pokemon and humans trying to relax and away from mundane life or battles. This series reminds me why Psyduck is the best shillmon ever and should be the mascot of Pokemon franchise. There's no pandering. Everyone is treated equally. But I suggest you watch it in original Japanese dub with subtitles because the English dub sounds a bit off. At first I also thought this will end up bad but oh boy how wrong I was. You should at least try watching the first episode and decide for yourself. But for me, it is good.
