Replaying this AMAZING game, still today I'm discovering and seeing things I never noticed before or that I stumbled in but didnt realize, such as battle animations, places pokémon hide in, overworld details.
These games are so full of stuff and were so incredible for the times, that they still last to this day. And also reusing the PSS I'm noticing how good it was lol, and that it's still active. I also noticed other layout things like that I can put profile pics from the 3DS gallery, the way Poke amie works with the gifts.
Literally everything about this game has plenty of details and hidden quirks put in it that still today has gotta be unrivaled, let alone back then when the biggest quirk a 2D pokemon game had was the music changing when you walk.
This game was designed to be beautiful, alive, and grandiose, for every single thing in it, every route, to be significant in its story. As much as I think gen 7 is more fun and has more personality, gen 9 has the best gameplay by far, this probably remains the most detailed game and that introduced the most stuff to the franchise. I will love it forever.
Also for the way i play pokemon now, making pretty much constant team changes and with exp share off, its not that easy at all. I lost against 2 furfrou with headbutt
