When the Sword and Shield trailer first dropped what was you're thoughts on the games. Before the dex cut, before more content was shown before the games & DLC were out, what did you think of Gen 8 based entirely on the reveal.
Personally I remember being very happy and immediately got excited when I saw grooky for the first time. I thought the game looked great and was really looking forward to it. If all the mons had been in the game I honestly would say it was my favorite. Kinda rough with the new hardware but the DLC showed that if the games had more time they would have been stellar. Kinda miss that initial excitement desu. When the games dropped I got shield and I had a ton of fun with it and enjoyed the DLC even more this past summer but the games don't really have a lot of replay value unfortunately.
