>>41867988>the connectivity the series is built onI literally didn't even know all games so far supposedly had all pokemons ever, before i heard about it a few years ago in relation to SuMo i didn't know about carrying them over between games either (which i still find kind of a weird obsession because as the other anon kinda said what's the point of getting new games if it's all about what you did before or what you can do in sequels that you don't know when will come, if you'll like them etc.). My brothers didn't either and they've been more active pokemon fans than me in recent years
I'm the first to call myself a casual pokemon player, but that's why I'm questioning the notion that "the series is built on" these seemingly/relatively niche features that apparently many people don't care or know about (whatever you think of its quality SwSh clearly isn't failing to catch the masses' attention)
