I swear these past two times the realization they were shinies was blink and miss it sort of things. Sucks for the Magikarp because of the shit stats and bad nature, but it also feels cheaper somehow because of how everyone who played HGSS at some point already has the Red Gyarados which I imagine some people will be bringing into the game a few days from now.
Still best X-mas in a long time for me.
