>>36994289I completely disagree. Everyone that I've seen unironically complimenting it have been nothing but grownass manchildren. Children are definitely creeped out by the cgi graphics. Parents don't want to take their kids to this, their kids already cried at the cgi in The Nutcracker and The Four Realms and that shit wasn't even close to all these nightmarish cgi pokemon. Normie teens are more interested in seeing Avengers than Pokemon. The writing shown in the trailers alone is already making itself abundantly clear that it's not going to be groundbreaking. The MOMENT you hear "Happy Together" in the trailer you know it's going to be a subpar comedy film. People will go see it for the cringe but because it has to fight the box office with Avengers it's very likely going to flounder because the capeshit producers actually know what they're doing.
