Also, I'm pretty pissed to find out that if you register someone's 3DS locally and they've never been online, you can't unlock the hidden ability of their Pokemon in the safari, even if you have them show up on your friend list.
I visited my niece last Sunday and played with her, excited to find out that her safari gives out Abras. I captured about 40 and still didn't get Magic Guard. Was I just incredibly unlucky or is it just not possible?
