Why did they drop the ball so hard with the Unova anime? The games were some of the best in the series, but the anime was filled to the brim with QUALITY and stock footage was overused to the point that they used it for the simple comedic pikachu electric shocking someone because he was mad gag. It wasn't only the poor animation, but Ash's team was garbage except for krookodile and leavanny and he lost his first 6 on 6 battle in the league. Trip, Ash's rival that season didn't even get good airtime.
I mean they certainly made up for it with the XY and SM anime, but what the hell went wrong with the BW anime.
