>>22413613"Who was it that thus cried?" the idol asks, "Why, worthy thane, you do unbend your noble strength, to think so brainsickly of things."
Using Magnet Rise, the idol raises the knight's bloodied hand, "Go get some water, wash this filthy witness from your hand! Why did you bring these daggers from the place? They must lie there! Go carry them, and smear the sleepy grooms with blood!"
Alas, the knight hasn't the will to return to the scene of the crime. He vents his woes once more, "I'll go no more. I am afraid to think what I have done. Look on't again I dare not."
"Infirm of purpose!" the idol scoffs, "Give me the daggers! The sleeping and the dead are but as pictures, 'tis the eye of childhood that fears a painted devil! If he do bleed, I'll gild the faces of the grooms withal, for it must seem their guilt." with that, the rock jew exits.
You're at a loss, you're shaking your head the whole time watching this. It's all very confusing and they're speaking in words you can't quite understand. All you know for sure is that no one /today/ talks like that.
"What the hell is going on?" you ask in a whisper, only to be hushed shut by Serena.
"Shh," she mutters, "Calem please, the best part is around the corner."
A knocking assaults the knight as he waits for him to return, "Whence is that knocking?! How is't with me, when every noise appals me? What hands are here? Ha! They pluck out mine eyes. Will all great Neptune's ocean wash this blood clean from my hand? No, this my hand will rather the multitudinous seas incarnadine, making the green one red!"
It all just sort-of flies over your head.
At last, the idol returns, the mini-heads on his sides now stained in prop blood, "My hands are of your color, but I shame to wear a heart so white.."
