Bros this episode felt the most like an adventure than anyone so far. My appreciation for the Volteccer's app was justified, in that they didn't all suddenly forget their common sense when it came to forest survival for the sake of an episode's plot. They even did a bit of the 3D camera work that XY was known for in the battle with the Arboliva, but it looked a bit cleaner here and less incongruous.
Obviously this was Mollie's episode, and I love her. They all but confirmed the "Mollie is a Joy" theory that anyone with two braincells had come to by this point by mentioning that Mollie came from a long line of Pokemon doctors and that she "left" the Pokemon Center to do medical mercenary work. The twist at this point would be that she's completely unrelated to the Joys, and I don't think Pokemon's clever enough to pull that off without it feeling cheap. Not to sound too much like he-who-shall-not-be-named, but I'd like to imagine that Brock got to fuck a Nurse Joy at some point and his semen transcended timelines so that Mollie is his spawn, even if they're in separate continuities.
One final thing I thought of. The woman in the preview definitely looks like she could be Liko's mom. Fried also mentioned trying to get in contact with a "Ms. Lucca" over the phone, but didn't want to call her over and over. I don't think we'd gotten Liko's mom's name, but it's very possible that she and Ms. Lucca are the same person. Considering they name dropped Ms. Lucca in this episode, though, I'd imagine the woman with the Squawkabilly is Ms. Lucca, even if it turns out somehow not to be Liko's mom. My money's on them being the same person, though, and Fried having some kind of history with her that hasn't been brought up yet.
