There's also a number of caves and ore deposits throughout the island we're on that has small bits of ore that also influence the environment (see the special ingredients you help to get protected by Titan Pokemon) you could go as far to say the divergent evolutions we see in this place are simply a lesser corruption/extent to the crystals properties and Area Zero/Ground Zero as it were being direct contact and so much influence it can make whole fresh Pokemon
