After reading and attempting to read over several dozen different stories, I have come to the conclusion that Borne of Caution is one of the best written among them. The story flows well, the interactions feel natural, the battles are actually top tier and his relationships with his Pokemon feel great.
Which disappoints me greatly, because there's a lot of fucking stories out there that are barely even worth a read, holy shit they're so bad.
