How ever I grew up poor and pretty sure even if it were the societal norm my family wouldn't be supportive of Pokemon training so I would have had a shitty time as a trainer as a kid, but would be a good trainer now as an adult when I'm too old to still be an average trainer. Gym leader aspirations are cool, but theres a few million people here in nyc, I'm not going to be a gym leader.
If feeding all of your pokemon is a thing I'm probably fucked tho
