Pokémon will more than likely be involved in either case, as the only other gun in GameFreak's holster is HarmoKnight, and I doubt that has anything to do with it.
So, that's the question; are we looking at another crossover a la Conquest, or is this mysterious partner collaborating on X and Y? In the case of the odd silhouette, one would think it's a new monster at first... but what would revealing a new mon serve in debuting this new collaboration? This is all very interesting. It may very well be related to this August's big scoop.
