Muk was brought over to deal with alolas trash issue, guzzlord's ultra space world seems to be a futuristic alola,
so my idea is that guzzlord is an artificial pokemon meant to serve alolan muks role however they engineered it in a way that makes it constanly hungry, combined with the fact that it can basically eat anything, may be the reason it's ultra space world is evacuated.
either that or a wall-E situation in which guzzlord is there to clean up the world while the humans are offworld
