Yours is definitely much better. The mountain tiles need to be recoloured to accommodate for the sand. Same with the area around the pools.
Also, the Mart and Pokecenter that I posted with that tileset are FR/LG buildings. Does it matter? They can always be changed at the end. Placeholders, right?
I prefer pic related's trees. Idk - might just be me.
