I like to think that's how pokemon battles started with trainers in the west, doing duels over petty stuff with them (though you can't do a quick draw with a pokeball...pulling a remoraid out of a massive holster would be great to see
plus it'd be a great excuse to get hilda and hilbert into cool western clothes)
