No one actually wanted the pokemon to be in specifically they just wanted gamefreak to put in a lot of effort for a franchise that deserves it. Also yes lying via omission is lying(masuda saying that removing pokemon for higher quality animations and models but then finding out that he meant only for pokecamp)
