If you want the gym badge, you have to follow the headmasters every orders, which include training a Charmander and reporting bad students who don't use Charizard. Sometimes you might have to battle them.
And pic related is my progress for today. Mapping and eventing can be fun, but it takes a lot time to do. I just finished my route 1. Hope I can send more updates.
