While it was nice that we could get shit like Houndour, Midsdreavus and Murkrow, hell you could even find wild Steelix along the way to the zone before going to Kanto, it was shit how it was held off from you.

It just feels like a waste that you could have had an extra pokemon or two to use in the remaining 4 gyms and they were just limited to the last two instead.
