Shudo's og idea, something even implied in OS002 with that bitter dialogue from Hanako was that Satoshi's dad is a deadbeat piece of shit who knocked Hanako up before entering 20yo and them "going to buy cigarettes".
Basically like picrel, but instead of cheating with whores and having to whore herself to feed her son in a poverty situation, Satopapa just dumped them and Hanako had to give up some of her aspirations to become a young enterpreneur and had a quite successful restaurant when Satoshi was still a salivating and babbling little shit.
