>>57100860Thanks! It was a weird feeling, Breakthrough can be weighed pretty easily so nice to buy off a trustworthy seller. Yeah Breaks are strange for sure, I personally prefer their look in English with the yellow borders and enjoy my collection, I could see them getting somewhat cult status in the future since they were so out of the left field.
So I used to work as an IT consultant and saved up a lot of money, then I quit that job and am currently a NEET for a few months, so I decided to indulge a bit and buy some old packs. I had some stuff in the attic from back in the day but I got through that stuff pretty quick, the best I got was a few regular EX cards from Primal Clash and Steam Siege like Camerupt and Magearna. I never really managed to get a BREAK and other ultra in the same pack back in the day but like you said, it's cool that the possibility even existed, and I honestly much prefer the look of cards from that era so I'm happy to open that stuff even if it means a loss. Not for long though, as soon I'll be back in the workforce and will have to make do with current stuff, hoping to get a few boxes of the Journey Together and Rocket sets in Japanese
There are a lot of great artists who have stuck around in the TCG in my opinion, like Masakazu Fukuda and of course Mitsuhiro Arita, it would be a difficult task to assemble a binder of either's work given the former's work on the gold star cards and Arita having illustrated a metric fuckton of cards from Base Set to now.
>shiny secretsI'm with you, I'm not a Zard fan but that card from the Plasma sets is so cool, I'd be tempted to buy a few as singles since the market hasn't gotten crazy for them yet like it has for gold stars.
Go buy some Diancie packs anon! Godspeed kek, hope you manage to pull a full metal Dialga someday
