>>56263510Simon's team:
Houndoom L100 (Blackglasses): Nasty Plot, Heat Wave, Dark Pulse, Destiny Bond
Weezing L100 (Leftovers): Sludge Bomb, Will-o-Wisp, Protect, Explosion
Murkrow L100 (Sharp Beak): Drill Peck, Dark Pulse, Perish Song, Confuse Ray
Muk L100 (Charcoal): Rest, Sleep Talk, Gunk Shot, Fire Punch
Arcanine L100 (Confuseguard): Roar, Sunny Day, Flamethrower, Outrage
Ninetales L100 (Gold Berry): Dark Pulse, Nasty Plot, Fire Blast, HypnosisI'm sure I don't need to tell you that this fight is brutal with a L80 team. Getting two Focus Blasts to connect in a row while resisting Heat Wave is enough for Charmeleon to defeat Houndoom. Before we can Thunderbolt Murkrow, however, it KO's Charmeleon with Dark Pulse. With Bad Dragon's superior speed, even at a lower level, it's able to two-shot Murkrow with Rock Slide. Bad Dragon flies up to try and bait an Explosion from Weezing, but it waits until the second turn to explode, resulting in a double KO.
Next battle is between Ballsack and Muk. Waterfall fails to flinch Muk, and for some reason it uses Fire Punch, which burns Ballsack. Surf won't KO anyway, so we take a chance and go for Ice Beam, but Muk resists being frozen by using Fire Punch again. Next turn, we get Muk down to half health with Surf, before Gunk Shot knocks Ballsack out. Klaus goes underground to avoid another Gunk Shot, defeating Muk on the following turn. Arcanine and Klaus exchange Flamethrower and Crabhammer, leaving both with a sliver of HP. But with Arcanine being faster, it's able to defeat Klaus with Outrage.
Now that it's locked out of using fire-type moves for a few turns, we send in Lettuce and slice Arcanine down with Cut. Simon's final Pokémon is Ninetales, and Lettuce falls to Fire Blast before it can even set up Leech Seed for Brunown.
Ninetales hits Brunown down to about 40% of its health with Dark Pulse. Any hit could knock it out now, so it all comes down to luck. Brunown ends the turn with Double Team.
