Lets. Cook. Some. POKEMON!
>BellsproutThe Bell or mouth of this pokemon is largely inedible and tasteless. The leaves and the muscular, fiberous, stalky "root body" of the creature though are particularly delicious and nutritious. The leaves can be prepared fresh or boiled but the roots must be boiled- they make a good tea.
>NidoranDespite the poison Nidoran's are actually very tasty. They must be very carefully skinned and butchered to avoid the numerous poisonous spines, but you can get a lot of nice, lean, healthy low-fat red meat from them. Nidoran is best roasted or stewed with vegetables served in it's own fat.
>TaurosTauros is incredible common and simple enough meat to work with: it's raised and domesticated commercially since the meat of this pokemon marbles VERY well and tastes fantastic. Steaks and Shoulder are the best cuts of meat on the pokemon, but even the "garbage" cuts can be ground up into beef and made into burgers or thrown into Chili. The worst cut on the pokemon is the "rump" and the thighs as the pokemon whips itself- making all that muscle tough and leathery. The Flavor of Tauros is very dependent on whether or not it has been corn or grass fed.
>Shroomish. When preparing shroomish you must be careful to wear gloves, a face mask, and to carefully wash the entire body of the pokemon to rinse off any spores or powders afterwards you must "peel" the "head". After you're done prepping it, it can be: Cut, diced, and thrown into stews or used as broth, grilled, or simply fried in a pan with butter. The "meat" has a very.. rubbery texture? The taste is acquired- I'm not personally fond of it.
