Really weird fact about paleontology is that a little while back the fossil remains from Stromatolites aka aquatic bacteria colonies that date back over 2 BILLION years were dug up in volcanic formations, which was a massive shakeup for our understanding of the development of life on our planet, now where I'm going with this is that a fossil Pokemon that was an aquatic bacteria colony that looked similar to Deoxys would be pretty cool.
