They didn´t made models from ground up like the reddit fag lied, but they did touch up models, which also can be seen with Growlithe, animation of machoke, encounter animation of wingull which is essentially head back special attack.
And now adding to this, the whole world they modeled, the npcs, the npc animation ( which are good like bea, didn´t found a better and I am too lazy to make a webm) and some protag animation. Yes they probably reused one animation of hau. Also there are probably another 100 new Models of new pokemon alone.
There you go, that´s what they did. You don´t need to like it, but that´s the truth. Can we all agree on this?
