The quality is quite high, some cards have special features that you can't find in American/European cards (that Aerodactyl is holo only in the japanese version, or only japanese Southern Island's card have that rainbow holo reverse like that Togepi).
The only annoying thing is that sometimes you can see the holo passing trough the cardboard.
